About my ND led services

Welcome. I am a London based art psychotherapist and mentor. I primarily see clients online. My services address the access barriers that so often fail autistic people and the many neurodivergent individuals who encounter barriers to quality mental health support and access to therapies, mentoring and support.

I advocate for radical changes in the way we approach neurodivergent access in pedagogy, higher education, mental health services and therapy, and access in the arts.

The work I do with individuals is non behaviour based, person centred and I use methodologies and methods that respect human rights and sensory preferences of individuals that are non trauma inducing.

I am a frequent writer and advocate for social justice, autistic/neurodivergent access and disability rights.

A warmest welcome to all visitors to my practitioner page

I warmly welcome you to my practitioner page. For mentoring please scroll to the bottom of this page.

These are ND (neurodivergent) led therapy and mentoring services which means I strive to be an inviting, and inclusive space for individuals who are struggling to cope with their mental health and daily life. I usually see clients online because my therapy space is going to be rebuilt.

I work integratively, which means I work with you and tailor fit our therapy to you and what you best need. I am a diversity-inclusive therapist who works with all clients regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, or disability.

I aim to support you to reduce your immediate anxiety and crisis and together we shall create an environment where you feel relaxed enough to explore and develop your strengths, your skills, your resilience and coping mechanisms to continue your life journey. I am available for short term and long term therapy and/or mentoring sessions.

We can also use art materials when words are too difficult to express, and look at the images as a means of expression.

Therapy is about understanding and supporting the person.

About you

  • You do not need to have a formal diagnosis of autism or ADD/ADHD to access these services. Nor do you have to be neurodivergent or identify as such.

  • You might not conform to a specific gender and you might not have the words to describe your identity.

  • You might or might not be a parent but the stress of trying for a baby or having a child is taking its toll. You might want support with identifying your true self.

  • You might feel lost, confused, excluded and might be in need of some guidance or simply a kind and listening ear.

  • You might experience barriers at work and be looking for an employment coach/mentor.

  • You might be an art psychotherapist trainee seeking a neurodivergent art psychotherapist to have weekly therapy with.

  • In our sessions it’s important you experience autonomy, respect and support.

What to expect

The important thing is you feel relaxed and supported in sessions.

People come to see me for all sorts of reasons:

  • Sometimes it’s for mentoring or coaching in employment (sometimes paid for by Access to Work)

  • Other times it’s for mentoring in the arts or specific to their practice and studies

  • Sometimes it’s for therapy and when talking therapy can sometimes feel too difficult or traumatising, so instead we use art materials.

Why do I work with different hats on?

  • Due to my neurodivergence, as a pattern finder, I am a whizz at identifying barriers, creating and applying strategies to support you to access funding applications, energy conservation support, time-tabling and organisation. I have been supporting university students across many different subjects and areas for 15 years and I have been approached by autistic/ADHD artists and creatives for support with their own practice and employment in the arts.

  • As a neurodivergent artist, I experience similar barriers so can offer insight and support in identifying your barriers - once you identify what your barriers are this can sometimes be the first step to access in the arts or employment etc.
