The sound has not been treated here - you will hear the clicks of the camera and where I speak out loud streams of consciousness. As awkward as it might be, this is how I create and I move my hands as I speak, as if conjuring confidence to create, magical stirring.

During the performance
We invited people to respond to the works live in the chat box on Zoom. I work this way because I am a collaborative artist. Their words are anonymously platformed here but show you what wonderful vocabulary is poured out when responding to art in ways that nourish the soul.

The first one is utterly breathtaking
I think my favourite is the perfumes, it’s like listening in to someone’s dream. But the sea shells are really hypnotic and powerful.
I was truly touched by your films. There’s an ethereal quality to all your work that I feel so attuned to, and an exquisite femininely I feel aligned to. I feel I know you but inexplicably you somehow know me too. You have some how captured the essence of the experience of ND women, or certainly the experience I have had relayed to me and my own experience.

It’s really interesting to hear a detailed, nuanced, personal audio description. Interpretation is such a rich and creative material which you are using incredibly well. It’s fascinating to listen to too.

Love the hypnotic rhythm of it - mantra like
This sense of movement and space in both the visual and sound is really interesting when you're thinking about a small space inside a box. It's like experiencing the opposite makes you feel that small-ness.
Wrapped in my blanket in the garden staring up at the stars, feeling my weight on the earth and my size on the planet.
"I watch the moth feast in the dark" - one of so many incredible moments
I feel the spacey visuals really stimulating the front of my brain and the audio is making my ears tingle…

The way you roll the names around in your mouth is like you are introducing old friends
So far all of these tracks have been breathing, expanding and contracting.

This is an extraordinary, intimate and very moving experience and project. Certain words or phrases have really caught me. The layers of sound and the visual are both beautiful and almost overwhelming
