Elinor Rowlands (b. 1984, Luxembourg) is an artist, filmmaker and musician based in London. Her work explores the numinous and phantasmagorical nuances of memoir, autoethnographical, biographical and documentary filmmaking, and has often been compared to being ancient and intensely contemporary. Working with archival footage, photography and sound, Rowlands’ filmic montages create portraits of intriguing, divergent and dreamy world-building of her figures.
