At the Window

Premiered at the Art Pavillion, Mile End, London @ Shape Open by Shape Arts

Was also selected by Shape Arts for their 10 year showcase shown at Hoxton Arches in London to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

Was shown at the Royal Society of Arts for an evening with the artist, Elinor Rowlands, who spoke about an autistic way of filming/experiencing sound, multilayered art through film/performance.

About the project

At the Window was based on “Access to Work” about the barriers faced by disabled women to sick to go to work, yet made to feel too useless to be at home. They stand at their windows, looking out, as the world passes them by. This was made in response to the many “Save Charing Cross Hospital” posters in the windows of homes during this time as I made my way to and from hospital during a time of ill-health.
