About the Project.

Due to severe chronic fatigue and POTS, I am often rendered bed bound… sometimes I spend weeks in bed. I wanted to examine a life that is still living despite the isolation and often intrusive thoughts that seep in enabling a kind of suffering that decreases the will to survive. As with most of my work, this is an autobiographical account when I am rendered mute due to exhaustion (the film/visuals) and then the audio, recorded afterwards is a stream of consciousness responding to the visuals.

Filmed by a dear friend, James Westlake, who I allowed to film me during my most vulnerable rendered state.

Edited and composed by Elinor Rowlands.
