About the Project

I spent the summer of 2018 in Norway but I couldn’t shake this “feeling” off, it felt like a calling, a woman’s call - thousands of women’s voices.

I decided to read up about the history - read the stories of the women during the war. What I read horrified me and I made this film in dedication of them. Later, in October 2018, the prime minister, a woman, would finally apologise for the atrocities that occurred to Norwegian women.

At last the call of these women softened… perhaps I might return and see if their call is different, has changed?
