Today I realised with the support of a specialist that I don’t have names for my emotions I just feel on an intense level and then it suddenly dawned on me…
I realised I make portraits based on how I feel inside.
Having a very difficult week because I am struggling with the evaluations and funding forms… and I am stuck in a room in my head and don’t have the words to communicate anything to anyone so it’s hard.
Realising the struggles and barriers for them is an absolute massive step for me. Because finally with the diagnosis people are finally listening. That’s why the diagnosis is important. So how am I feeling?
I’m here right now, in this portrait including the haircut, busy, active, incredibly busy, sporty, active, and absolutely shattered from the inability to do the admin needed. But boy does it feel good to make art.
